He graduated from Barnstable High, earned a Bachelors in Law Enforcement from Northeastern University, and eventually a Masters in Public Administration. Craig was the representative to the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee, and served for 19 years with COMM Fire Department Call FF/EMT.
Deputy Chief Tamash left after 41 years of service with an impressive collection of 7,000 police patches. (When you see him out and about campaigning, ask about those patches.) Craig was and is a strong, highly respected leader. He especially enjoyed his time with the Citizens Police Academy building real understanding.
Craig has worked on the Board of "Tales of Cape Cod" for years. Stories of old-time Cape Codders have been faithfully recorded and archived since 1949: first-hand accounts of history we can't lose. In partnership with Barnstable Public Schools, "Tales" helps kids learn folks here were as revolutionary as colonial Boston.
Barnstable Neighbor 2 Neighbor (BN2N) serves all villages and invites all elders who live independently to join. When it needed a volunteer service coordinator and technical help, Craig showed up. BN2N volunteers drive members to appointments and social events, run errands, grocery shop, help with smart phones, tablets, and TVs.
The power and influence of any elected official comes from you, the people. Give your Councilor a great, resounding vote count from a community that really cares. It will help him work for you. Thanks.
